This last year was full of so many great memories!! Brendan being born, Nate graduating ...and then going back to school :), Anthony starting primary! Its been wonderful to be able to experience all the fun and changes with my family! Today i was reading in the Daughters in my Kingdom book that was released by the Church. There was a quote by Lucy Mack Smith that I loved:

"We must cherish one another, watch over
One another, comfort one another and gain instruction,
that we may all sit down in heaven together"

I have always felt that every family needs to have a motto and i feel that this should be ours. Its my greatest desire to someday stand in the temple, in the presence of the lord, with my family next to me! I mean really what an AMAZING day that will be!

Living in Boise has been wonderful. Where else (...in Idaho) can you go to the park in the middle of winter. Its been great being able to get outside and run around. Nate got this picture of Brendan at the last outing and i love it. He just looks too cute!

Wow Brendan is one!! I can't believe it. He still seems like my baby........not a toddler!

Well either way Brendan has been such a wonderful blessing to our family!! I am so grateful that the lord blessed us with such a beautiful child! He is full of laughs and smiles. He loves to tackle Anthony and well almost run in order to do it! The two of them get along really good. I will often walk into a room and find them laughing on the floor together. It is such a wonderful sight.

Wow this is so late but the kids look too cute not to share!! Anthony had a blast this year going trick or treating. Which probably was probably because he got to go with friends! He loved running from house to house and getting candy! Brendan also had fun Even though he didn't get any candy

Wow...I have really become a terrible blogger. Which is sad as there is so much more to tell with two kids! Brendan is growing soooo fast. I swear, It took Anthony forever to turn one and here Brendan is just a few months away! It has gone by so fast.

Brendan is 8 1/2 months old now. He started scooting and moves fast when ever he sees one of Anthony's prized toys (I guess its true...we always want what we can't have :) ) He just started pulling himself up into a sitting position and i don't think it will be long before he is officially crawling. Brendan really has such a fun personality. He is super happy and loves to laugh at Anthony's funny jokes and faces. We are so blessed to have him in our family!

Anthony is almost three!!! I can't believe it! I feel like he has growing up so much in the past few months. He has been learning alot about the gospel and the hymn. We have been surprised about how much he remembers. It is very humbling to see his testimony begin to form. He loves to learn and work hard!

As for Nate and I we have been busy job searching. Which has been a little more stressful than we thought. We have a few leads that would be awesome if they worked out, so will see!

Wow time has past sooo quickly!! I can't believe Brendan is 6 months old! and that Anthony will be 3 in just a few months. I really feel blessed that i have these two beautiful boys in my life! they are so much fun and i love how they are already becoming friends!

So its been crazy

Wow so we've had a CRAZY week. It all started on Monday when we brought Brendan into see the doctor about an infection. He said although not serious that the infection was unusual and recommended we see a surgeon. so Tuesday we went to see the surgeon and he decided to admit him to the hospital because the infection was bad enough antibiotic wouldn't cure it. I have to say it felt so wrong putting him in a hospital gown and handing him off to strangers. The surgery went great and he is back to his happy healthy self.

Other than that we are doing really good. Nate started his last semester of school on Wednesday. He only has five credits but we can already tell its going to be busy. We can't wait to be done and have a full time job!!

Brendan James Spencer!!!

Brendan James Spencer was born on November 9th a little after midnight!

He was 8lbs and 11oz and

21 inches long!!!

Labor was great and surprisingly short!!! By the time we made it to the hospital i was dilated to an 8 and had Brendan less than 30 min. later!!! Everyone told me the second is easier but i had know idea :) Anthony was excited to meet his little brother and hasn't stopped smothering him with love since he got here! Its cute to see Anthony give Brendan kisses and tell him that he loves him.

Brendan looks exactly like Anthony when he was born. It will be interesting to see if they look alike when their older.

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween this year was alot of fun! Anthony was old enough that he got excited about the whole process....especially the candy part! We celebrated mostly on Friday and went to a few business with our neighbor to do trick or treating! It was fun watching Anthony run around showing off his costume. Later that night we went to our ward Halloween party. Here's our family pic:

Anthony LOVES playing in the leaves. In fact when ever were out side he tries to start a leaf throwing fight. Its soooo cute!

Here is Anthony with a alligator puppet he made. He was proud of it for a few minutes and then into the trash it went.....i guess it wasn't that cool :)

Other then that there isn't much going on. We have about 2 weeks left before the baby comes. However i really feel that he's going to come early. I'm already alot further along then i was with a Anthony, so will see!

What we've been doing

Summer is unfortunately coming to an end. It a little sad to see the seasons changing, leaves falling and the cold coming :). Although it has given me and Anthony a chance to do some fun crafts. I've been trying to do one a least once a week. I've been surprised at how much he enjoys it! He gets excited when people come over and always makes sure they see his art :).....so sweet!

This is just one of the projects that Anthony and I have done. He is super proud of it!!

I have found a new way to get Anthony to try new food......Take a picture! He will try anything (well take a small bite of anything) if he can look at a picture of himself doing it.

Other then that we have just been preparing for the baby to come. Only 5 more weeks to go. I can't believe that were already there....a little scary. If you have any advice please pass it on.... we know it will be quite an adventure! Anthony is finally understanding that something is happening. He likes to touch my stomach and say "kick me baby, kick me"...its really cute.

I finally got my camera up and running so i thought i would post some pics of what anton and I have been up to. The weather has been so nice here in Boise so we have been playing alot out side and going for bike rides. Boise has amazing trails so Nate and I have really enjoyed it. Nate started classes this week. He is taking a semester to do Spanish and then will finish his last Masters class next semester. He will also be starting a side job with the health department here soon. He will be teaching health classes to the Spanish population in Boise. Were excited to see how it goes. But anyways here are some pic of what we've been up to....

Last week we had the opportunity to go to a hands-on science museum. Anthony loved it!! They had a section where they could pretend they were at the supermarket. It was so cute watching Anthony go around and put food in his cart!!

He is growing up so fast. Its had to believe that he is already two. Time is flying way to fast!

I thought it was about time that i got around to blogging. It seems like alot has happened over the past few months. For one we found out were having a BOY!!!! We are very excited to meet this new addition to our family!

Secondly were are in the process of buying a house. We should hear back in a few weeks. So there are alot of changes in the Spencer home.

Anthony is growing up sooo fast. He is talking a lot now and can even sing a few songs which me and Nate get a kick out of. He is truly a great joy in our home!

We went miniature golfing for Nate's B-Day. Anthony was having so much fun hitting the ball. Frankly he's a lot better at it then i am

Well Nate and I decided that it was time to go public.....WERE PREGNANT!!! I am about 13 weeks along and couldn't wish more that time would go a little faster. Life would be so much easier if i was over the morning sickness. But at least this time around i know that it won't last forever. :) Were excited that are little family is growing.

I know its been forever since I've updated the blog, I wish i had a good reason but really I've just been to lazy. Christmas was great. Nate and I had so much fun picking out toys for Anthony and watching him open them up. And we definitely had a blast playing with them!!!

Anthony is getting soooo big. I swear he is changing every day! Its hard to believe that my little guy is already a year and a half!

As for Nate and I we are just as busy as ever. Nate has another semester or two left of school and then we will start looking for a new job. Were not sure were we will end up, however we hope it is closer to family!

Well i finally got around to updating the blog. and i have to apologize now because there are a TON of pictures.....

Things in Boise are going good. We love the weather and really enjoyed the Fall season. It was amazing to see all the trees turn colors. I don't think I've seen anything like it.

Anthony's first Halloween was alot of fun. We went to a BSU football game and then did some Trick or Treating. He looked really cute in his costume.

Well I caught Anthony dancing and couldn't resist sharing it with everybody. It's crazy the things kids do with out any instruction....enjoy!

Well we decided to get a bike seat for Anthony. Boise has a lot of great trails and we thought we'd check them out. Anthony had a blast and loves to walk around the house with his helmet on.

Well it has been a crazy busy month. We have moved to Boise, started a masters program and a new job. Surprisingly however it is going pretty good. We love the area were we live and have enjoyed meeting new people.

There are some unbelievable parks nearby that Anthony has really enjoyed. The picture below is of the Boise river that goes by one of our favorites. Its a beautiful view.

Here is Anthony riding a "baby" bike. His cousins have one that they let him try out and now he thinks he's a pro!

Anthony is FINALLY becoming a good eater! It is fun to watch him enjoy all the new tastes.

Nate's Family Had a going away party for us. It was so much fun to have some of the family together. Here is a pic of Anthony and his "kind of" cousin. They were cute.

Well Anthony is officially 1 year old. I can't believe it. He's not a baby anymore!!!

Well we decided to have a little celebration with my family in Utah. It was great fun. We had a pinata (Homemade by me) cake and lots of fun!

These first pictures are of Anthony eating his cake. It was so funny to watch.....

After a while Anthony got sick of eating by himself and decided to share. What a nice boy! :)

Well we had a great time on the fourth of July. We went to the parade, had a barbecue with Nate's parents, and finished it off with some amazing fireworks. Anthony seemed to have a great time.

Well Nate had a few days off work so we decided to take Anthony to the Splash Park. It was so Fun to see him explore and try something new. He had a great time!!!1

Ok so a gross story that i have to tell.....One day last week i decided to bring Anthony to the park. He love to throw rocks on the slides and usually quite a few of them end up in his mouth. I get sick of chasing after him, and tend to let it go after a while. Well on this particular day i noticed that he had huge rock in his mouth and after a while decide that i should take it from him. But when i pulled it out i found that it wasn't a rock at all but dog poop. It was soooo gross. I guess i learned a lesson.

Well Anthony is growing up so fast. He's not my baby anymore! I am amazed at how fast he is changing. Everyday is something new. Just in the last week or so he has started standing on his own, climbing stairs, and walking. Its hard to believe that he is almost one. The time sure has flown by.

Well we finally had a few nice days, so Nate and I decided that we better enjoy them and take Anthony to the park. It was so much fun. We played basketball, played on the slides, and took a few minutes to swing. I have to tell you i have really missed being outside and running around with Nate. We always have so much fun.

We decided to get Anthony Shoes since we well be spending so much time outside. He was a Little confused about what was going on when we first put them on. He kept trying to pull them off like they were a toy.

Well these last couple of weeks have been full of fun and excitement. We had a couple of birthdays, some get togethers with friends, and most importantly we found out that Nate was accepted to Boise State University. That means that we are going to Boise some time after July 24th!

So Anthony started Cruising a few days ago! Everyone tells me that it's just a matter of time before he is walking on his own. Which is crazy but exciting!

This is Anthony's new favorite place in the house! Any time I let him wonder he will crawl into our room and go straight for the CD player. He likes to push all buttons and open and close the CD cover. Its soooo funny.

We had one day this month where it was warm enough for shorts and we decide to take advantage of it.

Trip to Utah!

Well Nate had training in Utah for a few days so me and Anthony decided to tag along and visit the Fam. We had a really good time and took some great pics and videos. The first one is of Anthony and my sister Jen. She Taught him a new trick! It's pretty cute.....

My Mom, Kayla and I went to Temple Square on Tues. It was so beautiful. There were flowers everywhere. We had the opportunity to go to some of the historical sights it was a great experience.

Amazing!!!! The other day I was on the computer basically just wasting the day when i heard Anthony just laughing away. I turned around to take a peek at what the fun was and this is what I found. My little boy pulled him self up and was walking or rather shuffling around a box playing with a bunch of toys. And boy was he proud of himself!

It's crazy how fast he picks up on things. On day nothing and the next the little guy is getting himself around.

Anthony really dose have a sunny disposition. He loves to laugh and to smile. Lately he has started "Fake Laughing" Me and Nate think it sounds a little like a Duck. Its so Funny!!

Time is Flying By.....

Well Anthony is 8 Months Old!!!! I can't believe it. Time is flying by! It is so fun watching him grow and develop. He has finally started to enjoy baths!!! I attribute this to the fact that we have brought him swimming the last few times we have gone to Utah. He has so much fun playing with his Aunts and Grandma and splashing in the water. I wish i had some pics of swimming but the bath ones will have to do.

Last week Nate had training in I.F. so me and Anthony went along and walked around the greenbelt. It was so much fun! there were TONS of ducks and birds. We had a blast walking around and looking at them. Anthony was bouncing up and down with excitement. I know that we are going to have alot of fun this summer.

Anthony is starting to be able to stand by himself as long as he is braced against something. The other day he got up to our printer and stood up so that he could push the button that makes it go on and off. He really likes the sound it makes.

Me and Nate are doing good. Nate is getting ready to start a Spanish class at BYU-I and a few master classes at ISU. He is really excited. He has really missed being in school. Nothings really all that new for me, just enjoying being a stay at home mom!

Anthony is moving around soooo much anymore. He is always into something that he shouldn't be. Why babies are always attracted to the most dangerous thing in the room is beyond me. But Anthony is getting more and more independent, he can now know s how to hold his own bottle, put food in his mouth and on occasion fall asleep with out any help.

Well over the past couple of days Anthony has figured out how to scoot forward. He is really enjoying this new found freedom. How ever i have noticed that he will only move for certain things.....which mostly consists of things he shouldn't have. Like cords, pens, or anything hazardous i didn't see on the floor.

Anthony turned 7 months yesterday! I can not believe how big he is getting and how much he is eating!!!!!!

As for Nate and me, things are about the same as always. We are currently waiting to hear back from Boise State university to see if Nate got into school and looking for a transfer with Nate's employment. We should hear some news by May.....but hopefully sooner!

I can't believe how big Anthony is getting! We went to the doctor a few days ago for a checkup and he is in the 94Th percentile for height and for his head size!! he definitely has the Spencer genes.

Anthony is shooting....well he can go backwards and in a circle but not forwards yet. but i think he well get it soon!

He loves to grab his feet. Every once in a while i will see him eating his toes

He is starting to push back on to his knees. It won't be too long before he starts to crawl

Christmas at the spencers

Well we had a great Christmas even though we didn't make it home. The roads were bad so at the last minute we decided to stay. Nate and I had fun making gingerbread houses and cinnamon rolls. It was nice to spend time together as a family.

Well Christmas day we wanted to make gingerbread houses but we didn't have any grandcrakers or frosting so we made them out of cardboard and glue. It was surprisingly fun!

This is our Christmas tree. It was nice to have it up with all of the lights but Christmas day we decided we'd had enough and it came down. Kind of sad huh

Food for the first time!!

I am sure this was more exciting for me then for Anthony, but we gave him is first taste of food today. And "Taste" is what I mean! Most, if not all, the food came right out. It was, however, fun to watch his confused face at this new flavor. I think that we will probably wait another week or two before we try it again. But enjoy the photos. The first one is my favorite!

Anthony went in for his 4 month check up yesterday! He has gotten so big. He weighs 16 pounds and is 21 inches long. I just can't believe it! I am starting to really enjoy being a mom. Not that it isn't hard sometimes but we are having more fun together. He is really starting to get more of a personality. He is starting to laugh and i have made it one of my personal goals to get a giggle out of him at least once a day. It is so fun to watch him grow and develop.

Grandpa came to visit!!!

My dad came last week and stopped in for a visit. It was nice to be able to spend some time with him! Anthony is lucky to have so much family that love him! We are very grateful.

Anthony is starting to look more and more like Nate everyday!

Anyone who knows Nate well, knows that he loves D.I. This is a love that I never really shared. That is untill I became a mom. Now I love going and searching through the kids clothes trying to find a deal. Here are a few pics of anthony in his D.I. Outfit. It is so Cute!

Three months old and sleeping through the night (well kind of)

Well me and Nate are finally getting a little more sleep. Anthony has been sleeping for about 7 hours a night. However last night he decided to revert back to the every 2 hour thing. But were hopeing it won't last.

He is so cute when he is sleeping. Last night we caught him laughing in the middle of the night! It was so funny.

He's going bald.....but at least he still has a hair line :)

Will we can't believe it! Our little Anthony is growing up!!! And already we can see a personality. He definitely has things he like and dislikes!!! So we thought we would share some of them with you.

Things He Loves.....

He really enjoys is bottle and will eat even when he is gut full. His favorite place to sleep is on his bobby pillow. In fact it is the only thing he'll sleep on. he loves to have his hair washed. he will scream at the top of his lungs when we give him a bath, but when we wash his hair he will smile and coo. His favorite way to be held is on our chest. He will curl himself up into a little ball and fall asleep. I think that Might be our favorite thing too.

Things He Hates.....

He doesn't like it when we take his food away even if he has stopped eating. He hates his bassinet and will cry the minute we get close to it even if he was asleep. He hates going to walmart, at least thats what we think because its the place he seems to cry the loudest. He doesn't' like to have blankets on his feet (or anything for that matter) and will kick them off the minute we put them on even if its freezing outside.

Three Weeks old and getting big!

Well we went to the doctor a few days ago and Anthony has grown so much! He is now 21.5 inches and 8.6 pounds! He is in the 80th percent for hieght. It is crazy how fast they grow. I can't imagin what he will be like in a few months.

Well so far our little baby hasn't come yet. He's almost a week late and we couldn't be more anxiouse for him to come! We go in tomorow to be induced around 8:30pm! Even though he is late it is still crazy that it is already time for him to be here. Time has sure gone fast!! We will try to get photos uploaded soon so you can all get a look of our little boy!

With so many freinds and family far away we wanted to start a blog so we could keep in touch and share our life with them. So we will see how this goes :). Our little baby boy should be joining our family anyday now. It is unbelivable that it is already time! It seems like these past 9 months have gone by so fast. We are getting more and more excited to have him come!
